Golf is a weird sport. You know why? Because the person with the lowest score wins! In other sports, the person with the most runs, points, goals, or whatever is the winner. But with golf it’s the opposite. That’s why it’s weird.

I don’t know why anybody in their right mind would want to chase a little white ball around a giant field all day. But my dad—and twenty-five million other people—do that every year. And that’s just how many people play in America! They play that dumb sport all over the world, too. Nobody knows why.
